TRA-C industrie, an industrial company west of Lyon, specializes in metalworking. We are a first-tier equipment supplier and assembler and bring added value through our businesses (engineering, boiler-making, welding, machining, automation, mechanics, etc.). Since 2001, we have been supporting our clients in the design and implementation of their specific projects.
We are also the European leader in Friction Stir Welding (FSW). TRA-C industrie is the first French company to have developed this process for mass production in the automotive sector.

Since its creation, the TRA-C industrie Group has grown, adding strength with the following four subsidiaries: TRA-C industrie, Soudage Technique d’Auvergne – STA, FORM in PROD and Jacques Soudure. The complementary activities of all the subsidiaries constitute a major asset in responding to customer requests. Indeed, all of these companies are able to bring unique know-how to a global project.
The experience of the TRA-C industrie Group:
Drawing on its experience in industry, the group offers training and technical assistance on an international scale. Soudage Technique d’Auvergne – STA and FORM in PROD specialize in training in industry trades. We contribute to improving our customers’ performance through our knowledge of human resources and the use of production tools.
Jacques Soudure has also just expanded the group’s skills thanks to its expertise in fine precision sheet metal work. Certified according to the EN 9100 standard, this subsidiary is a stakeholder in the aeronautics sector. With its unique know-how, it is a first-tier supplier to this industrial sector.
TRA-C industrie supports its customers with its various areas of expertise in the fields of design, calculation, metalworking and project management for the various sectors of industry.
Involved in Industry 4.0 and innovation, the TRA-C industrie Group constantly adopts new technologies in order to increase competitiveness and capabilities while reducing production costs. By ensuring product quality, automation of the production chain eliminates repetitive and sometimes dangerous tasks for employees. At the same time, the group recruits around ten work-study trainees and apprentices every year in order to train them in future jobs in industry.
